Your Full SOP in the Platform

We know how important it is for your team, suppliers, and partners to follow the correct processes for every shipment. That’s why we’ve built your SOP into the platform, making it easier to reference important instructions and ensure shipments are handled according to your preferred workflows. Your SOP also serves as a shared point of reference for both you and the Shippabo operations team, so there’s never any uncertainty about the right process to follow.
To access your SOP in the Shippabo platform, begin by pressing your Profile Icon on the upper right hand side. From here, select “Company”.
You'll see that there are 6 different categories of your company profile, separated out into tabs.
SOP Tab
The SOP tab is where we capture and store your standard operating procedures and key shipment preferences. This helps ensure Shippabo follows the correct process for your account.
In this tab, we document details such as:
- The party responsible for your customs & trucking services
- Your customs process, including who Shippabo should collect commercial documents from
- How duties and taxes are paid to Customs
- Any specific routing preferences or instructions you would like us to follow
Keeping this information up to date helps Shippabo manage your shipments accurately and consistently.
Billing Tab
The Billing tab is where you can add and manage your payment information for future invoice payments, including bank account or credit card details. This tab is also where we store your credit application and designate which contacts from your team should receive invoices and statements.
Customs Tab
The Customs tab is where we store your U.S. Customs bond information and your Power of Attorney (POA). From this tab, you can also share the POA with another member of your team so they can sign it directly. The recipient does not need to have a Shippabo account to receive or sign the POA through the Share option.
Company Tab
The Company tab is where we store your basic company details, such as your company address, EIN, and phone number.
This is the default tab you will see when you open your Company page.
Team Tab
The Team tab is where you can view and manage all team members who currently have access to the Shippabo platform.
From this tab, you can:
- Add new team members
- Update existing team members’ roles or information
- Suspend team members who no longer need access to the platform
Address Tab
The address tab is where you can view and manage all of your pickup and delivery addresses associated with your shipments. From this tab, we can easily update your scheduling preferences or receiving SOP for each location.
